From London and the South East
Coming along the A303 from the east, go via Shaftesbury to Sturminster Newton. From Sturminster Newton, cross the bridge over the Stour, turn right, and then first left, marked Hazelbury Bryan. Go right through the village, past the Antelope Inn and continue into Wonston. Ignore a turning to Mappowder, pass a small road on your right called "The Old Dairy Farm", continue for 200 metres and turn right. Orchard Farmhouse is on your left, just after Wessex Cottage, a pretty thatched cottage. (You have gone too far if the road bends to the left and you find a turning to Anstey.)
From Blandford Forum, pass the edge of Sturminster Newton, and then take the first left marked Hazelbury Bryan after the traffic lights at the bridge. Continue as above.
From the south, coming from Dorchester, get on the Sherborne road, then fork right marked Charlton Heath. Turn right at the T junction in Charlton Heath, continue up the hill and then turn left when you reach the main road. Follow this road several miles until you see a chevron to mark a bend and then immediately afterward turn right marked Buckland Newton. Follow this road, ignoring all turnings until you come to Kings Stag. Turn right to Hazelbury Bryan. Come into Hazelbury Bryan, turn right at the T junction and contine to Wonston. Ignore the turning to Mappowder. Pass "The Old Dairy Farm" and continue for 200 metres and turn right. Orchard Farmhouse is on your left, just after Wessex Cottage, a pretty thatched cottage.
From the west, come via Stuminster Newton or Kings Stag as above.
From Bristol, the Midlands and the North, come via Wincanton and Kings Stag.
From France via Poole or Weymouth. From Spain via Santander and Plymouth.
