Report on Orchard Farmhouse Organic Bed and Breakfast
 
Directions, Arrival and Welcome
First class directions.  Our inspector was particularly impressed by airline style guiding and noted with approval flourescent uniform.
 
Warm welcome by props. and dogs.
Our inspector was particularly pleased to observe exemplary management of dogs by props. and general good behaviour of canines throughout stay.
 
Facilities
1. Bedroom
Excellent bedroom ensuite facilities with fine views from windows.
Our inspector notes very comfortable nights, delightful surroundings and really good shower. Our inspector offers the suggestion that while the duvet cover was delightful the more conventional and indeed hidebound visitor might prefer cotton matching duvet and sheets set although she personally very much enjoyed cosy duvet cover. Our inspector also approves of turn up and down able heating arrangements to suit all requirements. She also wonders whether perhaps hairdryers might be provided in the rooms as standard as discussed with prop. Sarah.
 
2. Lounge area
Excellent, spacious room with views.
Our inspector very impressed with supplies of games, musical instruments, books etc.
 
3. Breakfast
Very high standard organic breakfast.
Our inspector speaks with particular enjoyment of homemade marmalade and bread, excellent and generous supplies of coffee and while she did not wish for the full english has every confidence in such being a breakfast to remember.
 
4. Other meals
Outstanding.
Our inspector dwells with nostalgia on beautiful pork, delicious and intelligently cooked vegetables, she speaks passionately of a passion cake and extremely fine sponge and beautifully cooked Sunday lunch. In fact it was difficult to shut our inspector up on this point.
 
5. Attitude of owners/managers/proprietors
Superb
Our inspector describes warmth, laughter, enthusiasm, thoughtfulness and great generosity along with excellent conversation and makes special mention of a snowdrop laying an egg which has left the management slightly puzzled.

Our inspector expresses the hope that she may visit again soon just to make sure that standards do not slip. The management feels that the inspector may be overreaching herself and that if she wants to return she should do it on her own time.
